Report from the Uponor Academy

On May 21, the first day of the Wod-Kan 2019 fairs at the Bydgoszcz Trade Fair Center, Uponor Infra once again organized the seminar of the Uponor Academy.

The seminar program included 5 interesting presentations. The first presentation "Reliable polyethylene systems as flexible and multivariate solutions for the construction of pressure pipelines, collectors and storm water retention - Significant material parameters in the design of PEHD systems" was presented by Paweł Birecki, technical advisor at Uponor Infra.

Radosław Harasim, legal advisor from Inter Med Consulting s.c. discussed the project documentation and supervision over the proper implementation of a public procurement financed from EU funds.

After a short break, Dr. Eng. Florian Piechurski from the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Power Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology carried out a cost analysis of the storm water recovery system for an office building. The last two papers were presented by representatives of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture at the Rzeszów University of Technology. Prof. Daniel Słyś showed applications of retention canals, and Prof. Józef Dziopak in his speech talked about the dimensioning of tanks and retention canals in storm water and combined sewage systems.
